The Madrid lost their first game of the season and the lead with the Classic just around the corner

Real Madrid lost their first game of the season and the lead with the Classic just around the corner.

This is the first defeat of Real Madrid in an official game for 20 appearances. It easy to say, but it is a revealing fact that occurs right on the eve of next Classic, which will FC Barcelona three points clear after signing a new victory in the league, this time against Villarreal with a stellar Neymar in every way.

"The second goal Sevilla has conditioned us. We made mistakes and they took advantage to the third. In the end it was a matter of pride and we could have scored the 3-2, but it was enough, "he was the explanation offered Rafa Benitez after the defeat in Nervion. To go a little further, the Spanish coach has also detailed the following: "The party has that reading, many minutes of a great Real Madrid, but we lacked poise and continuity. It lacked a bit of handling the situation because at first it seemed that everything was under control. In fact, it seemed a matter of time to come in the second goal and gradually, with our mistakes, we have done more good to them. The problem is that we should have finished in the first half and we have not done. "

Ronaldo struggling with his form

Real Madrid lost the shared leadership with Barcelona in the match against Sevilla, and the two weeks of the classic, sounds the alarm in the Spanish capital.

More than the defeat and the team defensive mistakes, the Spanish press highlights the dip in form of Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been absent from the goals in recent matches.

Indeed, the Portuguese, despite 13 goals this season, was nine (15) matches without scoring, which is why if you are talking about the drop in income because, say Mark statistics, the Portuguese still shoot a lot, although less on goal.

On the horizon is now El Clásico, in two weeks at the Bernabeu. Even without Messi, Barcelona is consolidating its position with Neymar and Luis Suarez, so, Real Madrid, is expected to return in the best face of Ronaldo.

The captain of the national team was not called by Fernando Santos for the double shift of individuals, in order to be able to rest and prepare for the duel against the Catalans.

Navas 9 clean sheets in 12 appearances

Keylor Navas the main weapon of Real
Madrid. He proved this on Saturday's game against Celta Vigo.

Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Danilo and Marcelo may have allowed Real Madrid to win a testing tie at Celta Vigo 3-1 and go top of the table, but Keylor Navas was surely Saturday's hero for Rafael Benitez's side.

The goalkeeper made a string of impressive saves in the first half and Celta coach Eduardo Berrizo said in favour of keylor "His performance denied us four or five goals. He didn't make one mistake. He kept out certain goals and allowed our opponents to win the game."

The 28-year-old's first intervention was to claim a header from Fabian Orellana after Cristiano Ronaldo's first time effort had put Madrid ahead, and then he tipped the Chilean's low shot around the far post.

With Madrid 2-0 up thanks to Danilo's sweeping finish, an unsighted Navas stuck out a fist to block an Iago Aspas shot destined for the top corner, but he upstaged himself a few minutes later, diving backwards to claw away Pablo Hernández's close-range header.

"We have to congratulate Keylor for saving those three shots, I have no idea how he did it," said Celta forward Nolito, while Navas' team-mate Lucas Vázquez added: "Keylor is a team player. He is just as important as a goalscorer. He is playing at the highest level and I just hope he continues to do so."

Nolito eventually got the better of the goalkeeper in the 85th minute, his powerful, curling drive finding the top corner, and denying the Costa Rican a tenth clean sheet of the season.

It was only the third goal Navas has conceded in 12 matches this term, and he remains unbeaten in the UEFA Champions League.

Cristiano Ronaldo struggling with his free kicks

Cristiano Ronaldo is struggling with his luck as star player converted just 2 from last 88 set pieces. Most of them hit the wall or resulted in a flight high over the bar.
He was known by the name Rocket man due to his brilliance in that section.

But still Portuguese will take free kicks for club. Real Madrid have great options for free kick taker.
Toni, Ramos, Bale and James every one of them can do this job expertly.

Real Madrid's staff and manager Rafael Benitez still want Ronaldo to take those.
But it's still a question mark on Cristiano Ronaldo's free kicks.

Bale has shown his magic with free kicks in 2014 in absence of world's best winger. He'll be suitable option for replacement of set piece specialist.

Will Ronaldo take free kicks in future or give that job to someone else. It's still a question.
